Pastor Rory was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. For four years, he traveled with The Celebrant Singers ministry, where he met his wife; Karen. Karen was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. They married in 1991 and have been blessed with three wonderful children. Both Rory and Karen have degrees in theology. Both are musicians. Karen is a classically trained pianist singer and music teacher. Rory was at one time a studio musician and well traveled drummer. They’ve been in pastoral ministry since 1993. Rory has served as both an Assistant Pastor and Senior Pastor. In 2008, after nearly ten years, they resigned as Senior Pastor of Family Community Church, to pursue a masters degree in an accelerated program in Springfield, Missouri. In August of 2010, Rory was elected Senior Pastor of Victory International Fellowship.

Both Rory and Karen are very family oriented and have a passion for God and a compassion for people. Karen enjoys working with women, playing in worship bands and teaching music. In addition to pastoring and preaching, Rory enjoys coaching football and soccer and racing stock cars.

Through all the years of stresses, struggles and successes, the motto of their lives remains, “Trust in The Lord with all your heart and do good. Delight in Him and He will give you the desires of your heart.” and “The Joy of The Lord is my strength” Psalm 37:4-5 and Nehemiah 8:10.
