Who are Volunteers?

Volunteers are members of the church who work together to serve our church body and others in the community to advance the Kingdom for Jesus.

How do I volunteer at Victory?

What opportunities are available?

Victory has many areas of ministry that are made up of multiple volunteer teams who serve on Sundays and during the week. Sign-up for one of the teams below and someone will contact you about your next step.

Guest Services

Guest Services teams believe that first impressions make a huge impact. These teams are made up of individuals who love creating welcoming environments for every guest at Victory. Sign up here if you already know which team you want to serve on.

Greeting Team
Welcome guests from the entrances to the lobby to the Sanctuary. Time Commitment: 30 minutes before a service, monthly or based on your availablity. Age Requirement: 12 years old. Contact: Jerry and Pattie Manz.

Connection Cafe
Help serve coffee and donuts before and in-between services. Time Commitment: 30 minutes before the first service and 30 minutes between services, bi-monthly or based on your availability. Age Requirement: 18 years old, unless working with an adult. Contact: Trudy.

Usher Team
Guide people to the nearest available seat in a quick and orderly fashion and takes up the offering. Time Commitment: 45 minutes before a service and the last 5 minutes of the service, every week or every other week. Age Requirement: 18 years old. Contact: Jim Bauernfeind

Office Team
Support every area of ministry by making phone calls, stuffing envelopes, organizing supplies or completing a number of administrative tasks. Time Commitment: Anytime 9am-5pm Monday – Thursday. Age Requirement: 18 years old. Contact: Trudy

Discipleship

Are you comfortable leading a Sunday morning class or leading a small group? If you are, you might be a good fit for the discipleship team. Sign-up here if you already know which team you want to serve on.

Sunday Class leader*
Leads and teaches a class based on approved curriculum. Enjoys leading discussions and building relationships in order for people to be built up in Christ Time Commitment: 60 minutes, every Sunday, quarterly. Age Requirement: 21 years old. Contact: Trudy

Small Group Leader*
Leads and hosts a group discussion in their home. Enjoys meeting new people and engaging in conversation. Time Commitment: 2-3 hours at night once a week. Age Requirement: 21 years old. Contact: Trudy

VKids

Babies and toddlers are in a constant state of wonder as they begin to experience and learn about God’s love through the people in their lives and the world in which they live. Wonder Way is a soft, colorful environment that is staffed with caring adult volunteers who communicate and display God’s love to each child. Age Requirement: 18 years old.

Mpact Leader
Disciple girls to love and serve Jesus by being an Mpact Leader, while having fun and developing life-long friendships. Time Commitment: 2 hours weekly, on Wednesday night. Age Requirement: 21 years old. Contact: Melissa

Royal Ranger Leader
Disciple boys to love and serve Jesus, and develop life-long relationships by becoming a Royal Ranger leader. Time Commitment: 2 hours weekly, on Wednesday night. Age Requirement: 21 years old. Contact: Melissa

Nursery Volunteer
Love to interact and love on our youngest church attenders? Then volunteer in the nursery to provide a safe, clean, and age-appropriate environment. Time Commitment: 1.5 hours, once a month, on a Sunday or Wednesday. Age Requirement: 16 years old. Contact: Melissa

Creative Team
Work behind the scenes to think out of the box to add creativity to large group and outreach events. Time Commitment: Every six week commitment for preschool set, once a year commitment for outreach set. Age Requirement: 16 years old. Contact: Melissa

VKids Worship Leader
Provide children with an opportunity to express their love for God in music and movement, and encourage children to mature in hearing and responding to the voice of God. Time Commitment: 20 minutes, rotating Sunday mornings during both morning services. Rehearse with the team on Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 6:30pm. Age Requirement: 16 years old. Contact: Melissa

VKids Assistant
Aid Vkids staff in preparing for Sunday morning small groups and help with office work. Time Commitment: Whatever you are available to give. Age Requirement: 18 years old. Contact: Melissa

Student Team Leader
Develop teaching and shepherding gifts in middle school students. Time Commitment: Every Sunday morning during the 10:00am service. Age Requirement: 18 years old. Contact: Melissa

Large Group Leader
Create a desire for children to love and serve the Lord and present Biblical truths to children in a fun and creative way. Time Commitment: every Sunday morning during either the 10:00am service. Arrive one hour ahead of time on the Sunday you are teaching. Age Requirement: 18 years old. Contact: Melissa

Small Group Leader
Provide guidance and encouragement during Large Group worship and teaching, to see children grow in their relationship with God. Time Commitment: Sunday mornings during the 10:00 am service, can be put on a monthly schedule based on your availability. Age Requirement: 18 years old. Contact: Melissa

FSM

Opportunities are available to be involved in helping mentor students to develop in Christ. Contact Pastor Dan if you have any questions!

FSM Student Leader
Be a leader amongst the youth. Have a say in what goes on in your student ministry. This responsibility requires training with Pastor Dan. Time Commitment: 1.5 hours on Sunday, 2 hours on Wednesday Age Requirement: 16 years old. Contact: Rachael

FSM Staff*
This is an opportunity for you to give a commitment of time and energy to the Student Ministry department. You will be responsible for being at the FSM/FSMjv activities, training events, and Wednesday night services. Time Commitment: 2 hours, once a week. Age Requirement: 19 years old. Contact: Rachael

This is an opportunity for you to help out in the Snack Shop on Wednesday nights. Time Commitment: 2 hours, once a week. Age Requirement: 19 years old. Contact: Rachael

Campus Support

These team members are involved with overall repair, maintenance and upkeep for indoor and outdoor premises of the campus, and office help. Sign up here if you already know which team you want to serve with.

Facilities
Help maintain the day-to-day operations of the facilities areas; may include general electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting repair, building repair, changing light bulbs, furniture assembly and more. Time Commitment: As available Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm. Age Requirement: 18 years old. Contact: Jackie

Care & Outreach

From prayer and encouragement to community projects, these teams serve people in need of love and support. Sign up here if you already know which team you want to serve with.

Caring Hearts
This ministry provides families with meals when their is a birth, homegoing, or difficult circumstances. We are all called to serve others, and in that way we are serving God. Commitment: Prepare meal. Contact: Cindy at 414.218.1297.

Shut-In Visits
Join our visitation team and bless those who are homebound or ill by visiting, sharing a laugh or two and praying with them. Time Commitment: As available. Contact: Pastor Gene

Help! Ministry
If you have a desire to experience hands-on Christianity, this ministry is for you! Great skills are not required; just a willing hear to minister to those who have need of simple home maintenance, auto repair, yard work, etc. We are matching needs with the Benevolence Ministry. Contact: Jeff

Transportation Ministry
From time to time we get requests for short or long term transportation needs to and from chruch. You will be contacted on an as-needed basis. Contact: Trudy

Prayer Partner
Our God is a God who hears and answers prayers! If your heart is stirred by the needs of others and you have a burden to see the Lord move in their lives, Jesus may be calling you to serve as a Prayer Partner. In this ministry, you will be praying for people who respond to the messages on Sunday. Contact: Mark and Susan

Fine Arts & Tech

If God has gifted you with technical or computer skills or musical talent, you are needed!

Sound Crew
Help run the sound board on for a Wednesday or Sunday service. Time Commitment: A Sunday morning, or Wednesday evening. Please arrive 60 minutes before the start of service Age Requirement: 18 years old. Contact: Marti
